It has been a great weekend, starting with a drive to Seattle to watch the NAIA Conference Championship XC meet. The drive was beautiful with a mix on rain and sunshine and a beautiful double rainbow leading the was for close to 15 minutes. The meet was held at Lincoln Park in Seattle, located on the cliff line above Puget Sound. The course was muddy and slick, but the Raiders of Southern Oregon held on to win 1st place. Four of their runners, including David were named to the All Conference Team, and the team now gears up for the National competition in Kinosha (sp), Wisconsin the weekend before Thanksgiving. The drive home was that much sweeter because of the great victory.
